Our commitments
Green investment
To offer you the utmost comfort, our hospitality evolves constantly according to the principles of sustainable development. Certified EU Ecolabel, Hotel Filigrane is committed to ensuring that your stay with us fosters a sustainable art or living, by the responsible use of energy, promoting the circular economy and respecting the local socio-economic fabric through virtuous and well-informed choices and procedures.
Climate
Responsible energy consumption
Using energy responsibly is one of the main solutions in acting against climate change. By ensuring that comfort fits in harmoniously with this awareness, Hotel Filigrane sets its heating and air-conditioning systems within a temperature range of 19°C and 24°C, thereby optimising their energy efficiency.
Water
Responsible use
It goes without saying that drinking water is worthy of our attention. The bottled water that you drink at Hotel Filigrane, for example, is actually filtered drinking water. Sourced locally, Paris drinking water doesn’t need to be transported or entail the production of plastic. Another example, washing linen, in addition to using energy for heating the water, substantial quantities of pollutants are evacuated in the waste water. Therefore, to conserve water both in terms of quality and quantity, Hotel Filigrane suggests changing your bed and bath linen only when you think it necessary. Consequently, thousands of litres of water can be saved each year, thereby contributing to conserving an essential natural resource.
Recycling
Careful sorting
The advantages of recycling require no introduction as a way of preserving soil, water and air. However, in order for recycling to succeed, waste needs to be sorted beforehand. At Hotel Filigrane, waste sorting bins are provided in order to separate biowaste, metal, paper, plastic and packaging. Together with the Hotel Filigrane team’s code of good practice, you can also play your part by using the waste sorting bins provided in your rooms and in the public areas.
Local economy
Select suppliers
Hotel Filigrane carefully chooses its partners and suppliers — with reference to their ethics and practices — who are all committed to the same quality standards and to a sense of the local economy. Verifying that all share the same code of ethics and local know-how ensures not only Hotel Filigrane that the essential human factor is taken into account, but also guarantees that logistics-related carbon footprint is limited.
Human Values
Responsible Recruitment
At Hôtel Filigrane, the art of welcoming begins with respect for those who make it possible. Our responsible recruitment charter upholds equal opportunity, diversity, and fair working conditions. Every team member is encouraged to train, grow, and develop, so that well-being at work shines through in the quality of hospitality offered to our guests.
Local Roots
Sustainable Partnerships
True to its connection with the neighborhood and the city, Hôtel Filigrane favors short supply chains and collaborations with local artisans, producers, and shopkeepers. This choice supports the local economy, values unique know-how, and reduces the carbon footprint linked to transportation. Each selected product carries the imprint of a meeting, a craft, and a story.
Governance
Structured Plan
While hospitality can be spontaneous, sustainability should never be left to chance. Hôtel Filigrane relies on a comprehensive sustainability management plan that guides every decision, whether environmental, social, or economic. Regularly reviewed and adjusted as progress is made, this plan ensures our commitment is never just words, but a guiding thread for our entire team.
Hotels en Ville

As an active member of the Hotels en Ville collective, Hôtel Filigrane aligns its actions with a shared Ethical & CSR Charter. Our responsible purchasing charter guides us toward committed partners, while our responsible recruitment charter ensures an equitable and inclusive framework. Together, we amplify the impact of every action in favor of a sustainable and human-centered hospitality.
